Wood’s Tenderfoot American Malt Whiskey (750mL)

Wood’s American Malt Whiskey is made from three barley malts (77%: two-row, chocolate and cherry-wood smoked), malted wheat (10%) and malted rye (13%).ÿ Fermented with traditional scotch yeast and double distilled with the final distillation going through the distillery’s 135 year old German still.ÿ Aged in select 25-gallon new American oak barrels.ÿ In this bottle you will find a smooth balanced whiskey with a hint of smoke, chocolate and a long spicy finish.

Each batch of Tenderfoot is fermented, distilled, aged and bottled by hand in Salida Colorado. Bottled at 45% ABV

Tasting Notes:

Color: Pale amber color.

Aroma/Nose: Bright, fruity aromas of raisin bran, dried peach, and suede

Body/ Mouthfeel: vibrant, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body

Taste: Peppery, sweet and peppery spices, nuts, charcoals,

Finish: A very zesty, tongue tingling medium-length rye flour finish.

Tenderfoot Whiskey won a bronze medal at the ACDA judging of craft spirits, a score of 85 from Whiskey Advocate, and an 89 point ?highly recommended? rating from Beverage Tasting Institute.
