Tamdhu 15 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Tamdhu 15 years old is the oldest bottling currently available from the distillery. A limited release of 24.000 bottles matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled in 2019 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Charred pineapple, earthy barley and a hearty slice of dense fruitcake, then some toasty oak warmth, orange zest and fennel.

Palate: Still packing heavy dried fruit notes, with a hint of orange oil and dried apricots cutting through. Earthy vanilla appears later on with touches of cedar, leather and cinnamon.

Finish: Warm and sweet, with waxy peels, clove, chocolate ice-cream and oily walnut.
